A NEW facility for London self-storage company, Attic Self Storage, has been developed using EQUITONE [natura] fibre cement facade material giving the contemporary building a modern, vibrant appearance.

The premises, in London N7, bordering Islington and Camden, offers businesses and individuals across North London safe, secure and convenient storage solutions.

Award-winning architectural practice TP Bennett was appointed to obtain the planning permission for the purpose of Attic Storage’s occupation of the building.

Jeff Wall, director at TP Bennett, said EQUITONE was specified on the Attic development because of its performance and aesthetics. TP Bennett had previously specified EQUITONE facade materials on a number of its design projects.

He added: “EQUITONE is a durable material which gives an attractive appearance – qualities we always strive for on any project we’re involved in.”

Attic’s North London facility has the latest self-storage design features, including state-of-the-art security.

EQUITONE [natura] offers a tactile smooth surface which allows textures of the fibre cement to show through the facade.

A durable facade material, EQUITONE combines outstanding physical and aesthetic properties, including a life expectancy of at least 50 years.

In addition, EQUITONE meets the fire performance classification (A2-s1 d0), making it suitable for a variety of building types.

All EQUITONE materials are available in a range of colours, finishes and fixing options giving full creative scope.
