Project description
The first thing you will notice about the STABILO CUBE is its imposing black box design, which contrasts with its surroundings. EQUITONE [pictura] in matte black was chosen for the facade. The lightweight and high-density EQUITONE material provides a panel which is easy to cut and perforate, producing the visually cryptic facade. The design produces a monolithic-like statement, even at a distance.
Entering the building is a distinctly different experience from the exterior. Each spatial area: foyer, showroom, conference building or workroom is each vividly monotone. Each space has its own clearly designed color which become striking elements of the overall interior of the cube. The use of galleries, foyers and airspaces allows the volume of the cube to really be experienced.
