Bristol Business School
Stride Treglown reveal insights on their design and build of the impressive Bristol Business School.

The project is a state-of-the-art, £55 million, 17,200 m2 business school containing 148 offices over seven floors built for the University of the West of England (UWE) in Bristol. The site is used by 5,500 students and hundreds of faculty, corporate partners and community members.
The brief for Stride Treglown was to create an inspiring, professional, community building structure using versatile and beautiful materials. After researching the available options, EQUITONE was selected as the façade because of the high quality of the material and the aligned ethos of the two companies around sustainability.

Two colours were chosen to depict different parts of the building and Stride Treglown employed the hidden mechanical fix to the panels, reducing the amount of material needed as there was no overlap, but also providing a smooth aesthetic finish.
Andrew Kingdon and Nicholas Morris were interviewed by The Etex Group (which owns the EQUITONE brand as part of its Exteriors Division) for the release the 2019 Annual report.
